New Years 2024

The 2nd and 3rd decans of CAPricorn time that begin JANuary 1st are usually characterized by practicality. Time to get back to work, get our finances in order, be disciplined and responsible. It's less like the 1st decan, the solstice through the 31st, which is more characterized by the "Fishy" end of the Fish-Goat and brings a mystical, otherworldly "time out of time" vibe to the quality of time.

Until JANuary 4th we enjoy a stellium in SAGittarius, with Venus, Mercury & Mars wondering through this fiery temple of Jupiter, infusing time with a sense of adventure, wildness, exploration, inspiration and help in our quest to answer the Big Questions.

And by jove! The great benefic itself is stationing Direct right now after its annual half-year retrograde! This is generally seen as a good omen, especially for SAGittarius and PISces folks or for those in a Sag or Pisces profected year. For everyone though, the topics of the SAG or PISces houses in your chart should see some forward movement.

Mars ingresses CAPricorn, where it enjoys dignity through exaltation, to join our Sun on JANuary 4th. Strategy, Willpower, Strength and Tenacity switch into a higher gear as far as our focus on our responsibilities and sense of self-discipline...and beyond!

On JAN 1st, Mercury turns Direct at 22*CAPricorn. With so many shifts in gears this week, it should, for better or worse, feel truly NEW.
