Hi, my name is Serina!

I've been studying astrology for 20 years, since I was 16 years old in 2003.

I started taking formal classes & doing in-depth self-study in 2013. 

I started offering readings for donations in 2015.

Ive studied with 3 different teachers, for a year each over the past 10 years. These include Adam Elenbaas and his Ancient Astrology for Modern Times course and Paetra Tauchert's Astrology, Herbalism and Magick course.

I've studied Archetypal Astrology & Dreams with Renn Butler and Horary astrology with Turkish astrologer Oner Doser in 2020.

I earned a B.A. in Psychology from UNLV in 2013 after I got my A.A. in Psychology from Univ. of Phoenix in 2010.

I attended the Prescott College Master of Science in Counseling program for one year, which focused on group counseling, social justice in counseling, somatic psychology and eco-psychology. I focused on psychedelic therapy in my own research while attending classes there.

Before all that, I was a high-school honors student drop out. I got my GED in 2007, at age 20, a year after my eldest daughter was born. I now have 3 children, lot of cats and lots of plants. 

And I can't wait to dig my claws into the dirt of my garden again. I love the dirt. I love your dirt, my dirt, all of it. I love being human and I love humans. Even when I hate them. I'm an astrologer because I love humans. and dirt. and stars. Humans are both. Dirt and Stars. Divine Dirtbags.

Discovering astrology as a teen was therapeutic for me and studying and practicing astrology continues to play a therapeutic, guiding, and transformative role in my life.

​Above the entrance to the ancient temple of the Oracle of Delphi was the saying, "Know Thyself". Many philosophies encourage the ultimate wisdom of Self Knowledge.

Astrology, at maybe its best as it is currently most commonly employed, can be a wonderful tool for Self Knowledge, effectively poeticizing peoples identities to them.

At the level of birth chart interpretation of personalities and life patterns, its simply miraculous how awesome and healing it can feel to just have someone tell you about your Self or listen to you talk about yourself.

Beyond birth chart analysis, astrology continues to be for me a tool of Self Knowledge in terms of the larger Self, the Ecological Self, the Self that is one with all.

It is my wish that I will be able to use the tool of astrology to help people to know and accept their-selves, their loved ones, their lives and the world at large more completely and live more full lives more in tune with the currents of the cosmos!

Technical Notes
I mostly see charts now through the lens of the whole sign house system, with a Western Tropical Zodiac, but as I learn more about Jyotish and the sidereal zodiac, I am willing to look through that lens with you if you are curious. Within the Western tradition, I employ traditional and modern as well as standard and non-standard techniques. ​
